Founded by Caterina Avataneo in 2019, KISS is a series of shows based on duo collaborations and experimentations with collaborative formats. It normally starts by inviting artists with divergent practices, different concerns, mediums or aesthetic languages to begin a loose dialogue without pre-set scopes.

The intent is to contribute to shaping the final show through conversation and togetherness, letting the project unfold organically.  As of today, the results have been varied: from newly created artworks in response to one another, to a performance conceived together, participatory dinners and a collaborative display. Generally sharing one single room, the space becomes an active agent in which the act of interweaving divergent practices generates new work or new links between existing artworks, exploring the collaborative nature of producing meaning out of differences.
